New London, N.H.- The Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) at Colby-Sawyer College announced its newest representatives for the 2022-23 school year.
The student-athlete advisory committee (SAAC) is a group of current student-athletes who represent all teams on campus who come together to work on issues that are meaningful to athletes, students, and the community as a whole.
Taking the reins from former SAAC president,
Couper Gunn, is
Julia Carr (York, Maine). Carr is currently a member of both the women's field hockey team as well as the track and field team and enters the 2022-23 school year as a senior.
Joining Carr as vice president is
Hannah Marquis (Weare, N.H.) from both the women's soccer and lacrosse teams with junior Anna McCuin in the secretary position.
Together, the group of strong women will lead the committee in efforts to shine light on controversial topics as well as spread awareness of important information for the better of not only the student-athletes but the entire Charger community.
