Chargers Show Out on Sunday in Dartmouth Show

ETNA, N.H.- This past Sunday, the Colby-Sawyer Equestrian team competed at another Dartmouth hosted IHSA Show on Morton Farm. The Equestrian's Faculty Sponsor Kim France made an appearance to help cheer on the Chargers. The following schools competed in the show along side the Chargers, Dartmouth, the University of Vermont, the University of New Hampshire, University of Maine (Orono), University of New England, Norwich University, Bates College, Bowdoin College, Castelton State College, Middlebury College, and Northeastern University. 

RESULTS:

Senior Kara Fortier came in 4th place during the Open Equitation over fences and 2nd place in the Open Equitation on the flat. Sophomore Allison McNamara received 5th place in Intermediate Equitation on the flat and 4th place Intermediate Equitation on the flat. Senior Margaux D'Aprile finished in 4th place for the Limit Equestrian on the flat with senior Ashtin Burbank finishing in 3rd place in Introductory equitation. During the Limit Equitation over fences, first year Sarah Zink finished in 5th place. First year Tova Gray recieved 4th place in Novice Equitation during her first collegiate show. Sophomore Emily Foster received 5th place in the Introductory equitation. This was Foster's big debut in her equestrian career, also participating in her first show ever.

UP NEXT:

The Chargers trot out of the stable next Saturday, Oct. 30th to compete in a University of New Hampshire hosted show at the UNH Equine Facility in Durham, N.H.
