NEW LONDON, N.H. – September 12, 2015 - The Colby-Sawyer College and Keene State College women's soccer teams played 110 scoreless minutes to finish in a 0-0 tie on Saturday afternoon.
The Chargers go to 1-1-1 and begin a three-match road trip on Wednesday with a 4:00 p.m. contest at Lasell. The Owls go to 1-2-1 and will host Framingham State on Wednesday at 6:00 p.m.
Each team was able to get a couple of chances in regulation but could not get one by the opposing goaltender.
Late in the first overtime, the Owls had a breakaway chance from freshman Patricia Norton (Hampton, Conn.) but she had to rush the shot with a defender closing and sailed the ball over the goal.
The second extra session saw three shots from Keene State, but they all went wide.
Senior
Karley Hamilton (Bradford, Vt.) finished with five saves for the Chargers, while junior Danielle Warhall (Spofford, N.H.) stopped four shots for Keene State.
The Owls finished the game with a 19-10 edge in shots, while Colby-Sawyer took six corner kicks to Keene State's four.
