Women's Ice Hockey skate past Smith College and the College of Holy Cross on the opening weekend of IWCHL play.

NEW LONDON, NH – November 22, 2015 – The Colby-Sawyer College Women's Ice Hockey team opened up IWCHL play with a pair of victories over Smith College and the College of Holy Cross. 

Saturday afternoon the Charger opened up the season at home with 5 -2 victory over Smith College.  Kelsey Doran powered the offense past the Pioneers with 4 goals on the day. 

The Charger made the trip to Worcester, Mass. for a matchup with the College of Holy Cross Crusaders.  Both teams found the back of the net frequently during a back and forth game.  The Chargers outlasted the Crusaders by a score of 9 – 8.

Colby-Sawyer moves to 2 – 0 on the season.
