Field Hockey Falls at Husson, 2-0

BANGOR, Maine - October 18, 2014 - The Colby-Sawyer field hockey team fell at Husson 2-0 on Saturday evening at the Winkin Sports Complex.

With the win, Husson improved to 6-7 overall and 4-0 in NAC play while Colby-Sawyer falls to 7-8 and 1-3 in league play. Husson clinched the top seed for the NAC Tournament.

The Eagles got on the board in the ninth minute when Libby Kain took a pass from Mikayla Toth and buried it in the back of the net.

Kerianne Downing sealed the game in the 61st minute when she took a pass, went towards net and nailed a shot between the goalie's pads.

Kaitlin Dolloff made one save in net for Husson, while Jodi Dumayne stopped 24 shots for Colby-Sawyer.

The Chargers return home on Wednesday with a non-conference contest against Lasell at 3:30 p.m. before hosting a regular season finale against Castleton on Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
