Field Hockey Wins Third Straight

Box Score LEICESTER, Mass. - September 15, 2013 - The Colby-Sawyer field hockey team won its third consecutive game after posting a 3-1 victory at Becker on Sunday afternoon.

The Chargers are now 3-2, while Becker falls to 0-5. The game was a continuation from September 1. 

Colby-Sawyer took a 1-0 lead on a goal from Katharine Kessler. She was set up by Rebecca Perley

Becker knotted the game at 1-1 in the 27th minute on an unassisted goal by Michelle Griczika.

Nykki Stritzinger scored twice in the second half to lift the Chargers to the 3-1 win. She scored her first of the season in the 47th minute off a feed from Alexa Comesanas. Stritzinger's second tally came in the 64th minute on an assist from Kessler. 

Jodi Dumayne got the win after making one save. 

The Chargers play at Regis on Thursday evening at 6:00 p.m.
