FARMINGTON, Maine - September 29, 2012 - The Colby-Sawyer women's soccer team played to a 0-0 draw at the University of Maine-Farmington in North Atlantic Conference (NAC) play on Saturday afternoon.
The Chargers go to 6-1-2 overall and 2-0-1 in conference action, while the Beavers go to 5-3-1 and 2-0-1 in NAC play.
Colby-Sawyer held a 21-15 edge in shots, but all 11 on goal were stopped by UMaine Farmington keeper Beth Lebel. Colby-Sawyer keeper saved four shots to preserve the shutout.
Laurel Bauer and
Lauren Bernard led the Chargers with three shots on goal each.
Colby-Sawyer returns to the pitch tomorrow at Thomas for a 2:30 pm start.
