Taylor is the most prolific scorer in Colby-Sawyer women’s basketball history. Using her ability to create her own shot either off the dribble or maneuvering around screens, the 5’8” shooting guard was able to surpass 1,000 career points midway through her junior season and finished her illustrious career with a program record of 1,785. She also holds records for career three-pointers (219), field goals made (663), points in a game (38), points in a season (611), scoring average in a season (20.4), field goals made in a season (224), three-pointers in a season (74), and free throw percentage in a season (89.9). At the end of the 2011-12 season, Taylor was crowned NCAA Statistical Champion for leading the nation with an 89.9 free throw percentage. One of Taylor’s best games was when she poured in a game-high 27 points to lead the Chargers to a NAC title in 2012-13 and was named Tournament MVP. Taylor piled up the awards throughout her career, including two NAC Player of the Year awards. She also was a two-time D3hoops All-Region Third Team selection, a two-time NAC First Team honoree, a two-time NEWBA Third Team All-Star, an ECAC Second Team All-Star, a CCC First Team selection, a NHBCA Rookie of the Year, a three-time NHBCA Player of the Year, a three-time NHBCA First Team honoree and an NHBCA Second Team selection.
