Colby-Sawyer College Athletics

A field hockey, basketball and lacrosse student-athlete for Colby Junior College, Patricia was involved from the first day she stepped foot on campus. She was named to the All-New England Field Hockey Team as a half-back, one of many positions she played. In addition to her attributes as an athlete, Patricia was a Key Member and a Senior Counselor. She has remained connected to the college as a Class of 1960 correspondent and has sat on numerous Reunion committees. In 2015, Patricia was the recipient of the Alumni Service Award. Patricia has always been an athlete at heart and on the fields and courts. This passion has driven her to remain involved in various sports over the years as a participant and a mentor. Her community service has stretched to many states as she has relished the chance to positively impact others. Patricia was honored by the Boothbay Region YMCA with the Captain Whitney Wright Volunteer of the Year Award in 2001 and the Outstanding Program Service to Members Award in 2003. Her passion to inspire others extends to working with patients in long term care facilities and elementary school children.
