A three-sport athlete, Kelly is mostly known for her accomplishments on the basketball court. In her first season ('84), she was named the team's most valuable player and finished the season ranked seventh in the nation in rebounds per game, averaging 14.3 per game.
A two-time New Hampshire Athletic Conference Most Valuable Player and All-Conference selection, Kelly led the Chargers to winning seasons in three of her four years on the team and ranks second all-time in blocked shots (167), free throws made (278) and rebounds in a career (1,200). The commencement speaker for the class of 1987, Kelly was also a Rhodes Scholar nominee.
