Conrad “Connie” Kohrs Jr. enters his second season as the head coach of the Colby-Sawyer Men’s and Women’s Swimming & Diving programs.
Kohrs becomes the third head coach in the history of the program. He joined Colby-Sawyer after spending the previous two seasons as a graduate assistant coach and team manager at the University of Hawai‘i.
Kohrs earned his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and swam for the NCAA Division III National Champions (1980-2010, ’13-’15) at Kenyon College. He is currently working towards his master’s in English.

2017-18, CSC Women 3rd in GNAC (8 teams) 12th in NEISDA (20 teams) - 1 school record
CSC Men 5th in GNAC (6 teams) 9th in NEISDA (12 teams) - 1 school record
2015 – 17, graduate assistant coach and team manager for the University of Hawai’i. Women’s MPSF conference champions 2017.

2012 – 2014, International Olympic Committee expert coach in residence for the Federated States of Micronesia
1997 – 2012, Owner, president and Head Coach at ConKohrs Barracudas. Coached USA Open qualifiers, USA Senior National, USA Junior National finalists and qualifiers, International North American Challenge Cup finalists, Grand Prix qualifiers, and USA Sectional finalists and qualifiers.
1995 – 2012, Head coach at Carmel High School. Won 10 Mission Trail Athletic League championships and produced several All-Americans. Several top ten finishes in Central California.
1992 – 1995, Co-Head Coach with Spencer Shiraishi at Maui Swim Club. Hawaii State short course champions, 1994.
Coach Kohrs has taught undergraduate English nature writing as a professor’s assistant, high school history and English, and enjoys writing, surfing, snowboarding, yoga and travel.
