Colby-Sawyer College Athletics

Being a Charger while also being a senior team captain is unique in its own way and is hard, to sum up. But from what I've learned this season is that it's surreal and sad. It's surreal in the way that I've been part of a close family for four years and that these friendships will last a lifetime. It's also sad because it's the final ride. It's the last time that I will be playing volleyball as a collegiate athlete before I hang up the shoes. Despite this, I am glad to have closed this chapter in my life. Sharing special moments with my teammates and coaches has been awesome and I will truly miss the memories; However, I am excited to start the next chapter in my life which is going to graduate school and achieving my lifelong dream of working at Capitol Hill.
