Kaz Kusumi posted his best slalom result of the season by placing 37th at Friday's race held at Sunday River. He clocked in at 2:04.91 (1:00.54, 1:04.37). He completed a solid weekend with a 39th place showing in the giant slalom on Saturday. He came away with a two-run time of 2:21.15 after runs of 1:07.40 and 1:13.75.
