Colby-Sawyer College Athletics

First-year Rebecca Lee (Redding, Conn.) had a record-breaking day to lead the women's swim team on the first day of the 2020 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Championship held at the Boston Sports Institute Wellesley Sports Center. Lee set a record in the 1000-freestyle on the way to winning the 1650 and earn the title of GNAC champion. She posted a record time of 11:03.71 to beat the previous mark of 11:05.24 set by Signe Linville in 2005. Lee won the race and earned the Chargers 24 points in a time of 18:35.97. Lee led Colby-Sawyer for the meet with 64 points with first, second and fourth-place efforts
