Boone began his collegiate career by averaging 11 points, 6.3 rebounds and 3.3 steals in a 2-1 week for the Chargers. The freshman shot 44.4% from the floor. Boone scored 17 and grabbed seven rebounds in the season opening victory over Saint Joseph's (ME). He ended the week with 16 points, six rebounds and five steals in the team's win over Worcester State.
