Junior Peter Bakker (Barkhamsted, Conn.) came away with a time of 9:56.17 in the 3000-meter steeplechase to place 14th out of 23 at Saturday's New England Outdoor Track & Field Championships hosted by Williams College. He was fifth out of 12 in his heat.
