In the GNAC Swimming Championship, Garrett Scahill turned in several great performances to lead the Chargers. In the 500 freestyle prelims he finished eighth in a season best time of 5:32.07. Scahill then finished second in the prelims and finals of the 200 backstroke to earn the team seven points. He posted a time of 2:13.78 in the prelims and then lowered the mark to a season best time of 2:06.07 in the finals. On Sunday, Scahill came away with a third place with a season best time of 58.24 in the 100 backstroke finals. He clocked in at 1:01.86 to place fifth in the prelims. Scahill then placed fourth in the prelims (28.81) and the finals (27.92) of the 50 backstroke. His final time of 27.92 was a season best.
