Yang won both of her singles matches and split a pair of doubles contests from the top flights. After a tough 8-4 loss in doubles to a duo from Division II Southern New Hampshire, Yang responded with a signature win at No. 1 singles. She earned a 6-4, 7-6 (9-7) over SNHU's top player as the Chargers dropped a 5-4 decision to the Penmen. Yang and doubles teammate Anna Kopituk combined for their first GNAC win at No. 1 by an 8-1 score in the team's 9-0 victory over Suffolk. Yang then did not drop a game en route to a 6-0, 6-0 win at the top singles flight.
