Jang led the Colby-Sawyer women's swimming and diving team to a third place finish at last weekend's GNAC Championships. She scored a team best 63 points and set a new school record in the 50 butterfly with a time of 27.34. The time is the 24th fastest in the nation. Day One: Jang led the Chargers with 31 points, which was the 11th best point total out of all the women athletes on Saturday. She came away with a fifth place in the 50 freestyle finals with a time of 25.77 to earn 14 points. She was fifth in the prelims at 25.81. After winning the prelims of the 50 butterfly in a time of 27.38, Jang placed second in the finals in a time of 27.34 for 17 points. Jang came away with 16 points in the 100 IM. She touched the wall in 1:05.39 in the finals to place third after a second place in the prelims in 1:06.56.
