Colby-Sawyer placed three racers in the top-30, in Saturday's slalom race at Berkshire East, led by junior Scott Cooper (Reno, Nev.). Cooper turned in his best weekend in his EISA racing career. After finishing 26th in Friday's giant slalom, Cooper tied his career best finish by placing 23rd in the slalom. He had a combined time of 2:03.24 after impressive runs of 59.17 and 1:04.07. On Friday, Cooper started the morning with a first run of 48.92 and followed with an equally impressive second trip down the course in 47.16 for a total time of 1:36.08 to lead the Chargers in 26th place.
