Competing in events on Friday and Saturday for the men's track and field team, Curtis Warren finished eighth in the heptathlon with a school record point total of 3669. Highlighting the seven events was a victory in the pole vault. He achieved a height of 3.85 meters to beat the 12 other competitors.
