Sophomore Karl Nyholm set a new men's indoor track & field record in the shot put and qualified for the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Championship to lead the Chargers at Saturday's Plymouth State Invitational. Nyholm won the shot put event with his ECAC qualifying mark of 14.63 to beat the previous school record distance of 14.56m.
