Lopez set a new school record in the high jump at Saturday's Wesleyan Track and Field Spring Break Invitational. The sophomore's jump of 1.57 meters broke the Chargers' previous record of 1.55 meters set back in 2009. Lopez took the top spot in the event and qualified for the New England Championships. She is currently tied for the number one ranking in New England. She was named NAC Field Athlete of the Week for her efforts.
