Colby-Sawyer College Athletics

Sophomore Rachel Quaye shined on Friday at the ECAC Indoor Track and Field Championships in several events as she competed in the pentathlon and an additional shot put event. She set a school record with 2898 points and earned All-ECAC honors by placing eighth. Highlighting the five events was her record breaking performance in the 60 meter hurdles. She clocked in at 10.12 to beat her previous mark of 10.19. She finished ninth in the event. She also placed second in the shot put with a distance of 11.55 meters. 

In the non-pentathlon shot put event, Quaye achieved a distance of 11.79 meters to place 17th.
