Makenzie Welch helped the Colby-Sawyer women's swimming and diving team take first place at last weeken'd CSC Invite. She recorded a first place finish in the 100 backstroke (1:04.40) and second place finishes in the 200 backstroke (2:18.13) and 200 IM (2:24.65). In addition, Welch was a member of the first place 400 yard freestyle relay team that set a new pool record time of 3:50.91 and the first place 200 medley relay team.
